Do you do Peak Time Rewards?
I am a Peak Time Rewards program participant, it’s a program that rewards you with energy bill savings. (I don’t think I’ve saved more than a handful of dollars, but it’s a fun challenge Jake and I do to try to not use as much energy during peak times. (weekdays 2-6 p.m.)
The 2026 season will run June 1 - August 31. Participants will earn you $1 in bill credits for every kWh of electricity you shift. Just shift your electricity use from peak weekday hours of 2-6 p.m. during Energy Savings Events.
How it Works
You help conserve energy by temporarily shifting or reducing your electricity use on select Energy Savings Event days throughout the season.
For every kWh of electricity you’re able to reduce or shift away from 2–6 p.m. on these days, the more you’ll earn in bill credits!
In the days following the event, we’ll send your energy use report to let you know how much energy you saved.
Earn $1 in bill credits for every kWh of electricity saved while reducing your energy use during Energy Saving Events.
Participating in Energy Savings Events means you’re doing more to save money and help reduce energy use during the most critical hours on the hottest days of the year, when energy costs more to generate.
