2025 December Recap & January Board & Planning Commission Meetings

Where did we leave off? It’s hard to believe we’re already rounding home on the second week of the new year.

Our first meeting of 2026 is this Monday at 7:00 p.m. Here’s the agenda packet.

There are lots of positive updates. In my opinion, one of the most impactful items for our way of life is the roundabout at 10 Mile and Meyers Lake. Below is the current progress schedule:

  • Proposed start date: May 18, 2026

  • Open to traffic: August 26, 2026

  • Final completion: October 2, 2026

We have not held a Planning Commission meeting since November; those unofficial meeting minutes are included as well.

Our next Planning Commission meeting is Tuesday, here is the agenda. Items include:

  • A request from Visser’s to expand their barn by amending their Special Land Use (SLU)

  • A proposed site condominium near St. Pat’s for ten single-family homes

As always, I value your input.
